Full-stack web developer — custom WordPress plugins, e-commerce and LMS platforms, payment integrations, and the occasional native macOS app. 5+ years of shipping production code for clients across Europe and North America.
I started with HTML and broken layouts, and learned the rest the honest way — by building real projects that real people use. Over five years that turned into deep, hands-on expertise: WordPress themes and plugins written from scratch, full e-commerce and e-learning platforms, payment flows with Stripe and Solidgate, and front-ends heavy on JavaScript.
"Self-taught" never meant tutorials at 2 a.m. It meant taking on projects a little past what I already knew and being on the hook for making them work. I broke things, read a lot of other people's code, and kept only the lessons a real deadline forced on me. I didn't even begin as a developer — my first tech job was as a data analyst staring at growth charts, which is probably why I still ask what a feature is for before I ask how to build it.
My favourite kind of work is replacing a bloated third-party solution with a small custom one — less code, faster pages, fewer dependencies. The same instinct led me to macOS development: my menu bar app ChargeBeep is 150 KB of plain Swift with no Electron and no network code at all.
I hold a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and I'm currently finishing my Master's there. Fluent in English, conversational in German.
The smallest thing I've shipped is a 150 KB macOS app with zero network code. The biggest is an online store whose database backup weighs 3.2 GB.
I'm at home in both — though I'll admit I hold strong, possibly unreasonable opinions about which of the two does more per byte. That gap, from a tiny native binary to a sprawling WooCommerce catalog, is pretty much the range I like working across.
I'm open to interesting work — plugin development, performance and SEO rescue, payment integrations, or something entirely new.
